That you would be lost and forgotten.
I promised that I would always be with you.
Then one day you were torn from my arms
and vanished from this world.
Maybe you don't remember my promise.
I hope you're not afraid. I am looking for you.
When the shadows cast your name,
When there's ice in the fridge and tea in the freezer,
When the toaster heats up cold,
When the bed monsters fear the children,
When god comes down in person,
I'll shatter the darkness by standing in the light.
And that's when I know I found you.
